Jimbaran and Kedonganan
Jimbaran and Kedonganan are known for its fresh-caught fishes which are delivered onto marketplace. A beautiful scene arouses whenever the fishermen dock their ship on the shore. For those who like to do sunbathing and cruising with traditional boat, this place would fit their amusements. As the sun goes down on the west, a dinner would be a nice scene while watching lamplight emits from the hotels which situated on the cliffs at south of the shore. A beautiful vacation spot that not worth to omit. Sometimes, aeroplanes would fly across from/to the nearest Ngurah Rai airport.
Uluwatu Temple Area
This place was built around the 11th century, by a Hindu priest Danghyang Nirarta who claimed the spot as a meditation place to reach the unity with God. Monkeys that settled around the temple by the local inhabitants, would be an interesting scene to discover. No need to worry: they're tame. 30 kilometers from Denpasar, Uluwatu situated at the south of Bali island which is cliffed and high-waved coast from the Indian ocean. Thus, this place is good for surfing exercise.
Nusa Dua
Around 10 km south of the airport lies the international tourist enclave of Nusa Dua (meaning "two islands"). This purpose-built area is well planned and the site of beautiful top class hotels, with private beaches geared to the well-heeled and international conferences. The enclave is safe and manicured, with international restaurants at international prices. Though a tad sterile for many, Nusa Dua has its adherents and is a perfect place for those unhappy with the hustle and bustle associated with other areas.
